We Are Born Again. We Are Living. We Are Leaders.
To be a Born Again Living Leader is to understand that our past was a crucible, not a life sentence. We do not hide our scars; we recognize them as the architecture of our strength.
The Rising Phoenix
We are the phoenix. We have known the intense heat of substance use disorders, behavioral health challenges, mental wellness struggles, trauma, unveiled homelessness, and housing instability, or the profound obstacles of carceral history and justice involvement. Being "Born Again" means we refused to let our story end in the ash. We endured the fire, broke through the heavy limitations of systemic barriers, and chose a radical, whole-person rebirth. We rise daily, proving that true resilience is forged in the flame.
The Glowing Orb
This is our self-directed vision. Out of the chaos and fog of survival, we have pulled forth a brilliant, swirling light of absolute clarity. It represents our total command over our own path, actively mastering the eight dimensions of our well-being. We hold this light because we have earned the sovereign right to define our own destiny, our own healing, our own safe harbor and home, and our own future.
The Golden Hand
This is our commitment to leadership. True restoration never happens in isolation. The supporting hand represents our collective vow to lift as we climb. A Living Leader is someone who uses our lived experience not as a point of privilege, but as a bridge—reaching back into the dark to hold the light, eliminate stigma, and guide others out.
We are not defined by where we fell, but by how we rose. We are the architects of our own recovery, the guardians of our communities, and the light in the dark.
